Objects for the Home
is a boutique home store specializing in furniture, housewares + handmade goods. Owners Kris Konieczko + Chelsea Cabot comb through the outskirts of Ohio to find unique treasures
to repurpose. With Chelsea as an Interior Designer, and Kris having his Masters in Architecture, the couple has a unique perspective when it comes to seeing the potential in abandoned pieces.

is a boutique home store in Columbus, OH, in the business of "rummaging with scrutiny". Combing through estate sales, flea markets, and barns on the outskirts of the Ohio countryside in order to find pieces to refinish and update. The goal: to bring the old and new together.
Created by Ohio State University graduates Chelsea Cabot and Kristopher Konieczko, Objects opened its doors in June of 2010. Chelsea has her degree in Interior Design from the Department of Design, while Kris has his M.Arch from the Knowlton School of Architecture. Though Kris and Chelsea take the time to hand pick every item that hits the showroom floor, their goal is to maintain financial accessability to great style and design.
Objects houses an eclectic mix of found objects and handmade lines from local artisans, such as organic personal care products, stationary, woodcrafts, photography, jewelry and handbags. With both owners coming from the design field, it is important to them to support the creative craftspeople of Ohio.

WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR FURNITURE + HOUSEWARES?
We acquire our furniture + most of our housewares through our buying trips. We don't buy directly from the public + we don't work on consignment. We have either hand built or refinished every piece of furniture on our floor. The road trips are what got us into this business, and to keep the fun and whimsical romance intact at Objects we maintain buying this way. It's more than a bottom dollar to us, it's
a way of life.
DO YOU DELIVER?
Unfortunately we do not. We are a 2 person team running this store, and although we're flattered everyone thinks we're a much larger enterprise... we aren't! We do however have places we can recommend.
DO YOU DO CUSTOM REFINISHING?
Almost the same answer as the last...

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?
We accept returns with the origianl receipt for store credit within 10 days of purchase.
