Objects for the Home

Objects for the Home is a boutique home store in Columbus, OH, in the business of "rummaging with scrutiny". Combing through the outskirts of the Ohio countryside in order to find pieces to refinish and update. The goal: to bring the old and new together.

Created by Ohio State University graduates Chelsea Cabot and Kristopher Konieczko, Objects opened its doors in June of 2010. Chelsea has her degree in Interior Design from the Department of Design, while Kris has his M. Arch from the Knowlton School of Architecture. Though Kris and Chelsea take the time to hand pick every item that hits the showroom floor, their goal is to maintain financial accessibility to great style and design.

Objects houses an eclectic mix of found objects and handmade lines from local artisans, such as organic personal care products, stationary, woodcrafts, photography, jewelry and handbags. With both owners coming from the design field, it is important to them to support the creative craftspeople of Ohio.
